Variety Show: Seasons

The show itself will be staged at the Walpurgis Theatre over the last weekend of September.  Overall the theme is “Seasons”.

 

A good number of you expressed an interest in taking part. So what happens next?

 

1. Come to the Welcome Mixer at the Mortselarij on Sunday 25 May from 11am till 1pm. You’ll get a full explanation of how things are going to work – how the show will be structured, and how your proposed act can get on the programme.

2. So come with your ideas on the 25th  – do you want to sing in one of the arranged numbers, do you want to bring your own singing / dancing / magic / comedy performance? Do you want to get together as a group to do this, or put together two or three sketches?

3. We’re looking for about 10 - 12 songs/musical acts such as dance, and about 6 – 8 acted pieces (sketches, monologues, stand-up etc).

4. There will then be auditions on 24 August, then rehearsals will be scheduled for the next five weeks leading up to the show.
